Major suit raises

This set of practice deals is about very basic bidding using only Major suit bids.
The Major suits are Hearts and Spades.

The purpose of these deals is to provide practice in deciding whether to stop at a part score, bid game or bid slam. The important point is figuring out how many combined points the partnership has.

Keep in mind:
  you need 26 points to make game (4♥ 4♠)
  you need 33 points to make slam (6♥ 6♠)

  open 1♥ or 1♠ with 13-21 points at least five of the suit

  respond by raising to 2-level with 6-10 points and at least three of the suit
  respond by raising to 3-level with 11-12 points and at least three of the suit
  respond by raising to 4-level with 13-16 points and at least three of the suit
  respond by raising to 4-level with 8-12 points and at least five of the suit
